It may be international week but Manchester United have still managed to make headlines and sadly it's for the wrong reasons Nike Air Max 270 Mens Shoes , even though it is because of a PR own goal rather than anything on the pitch for once.
Season ticket holder Graeme Clark, who has followed the Reds home and away for four decades, has fallen foul of the club's new ticketing policy for away matches. According to the Manchester Evening News Nike Air Max 270 Womens Shoes , Clark was stricken with flu at the time of the recent Hull City game and therefore unable to pick up his match ticket in person. This resulted in an e-mail from the club informing him that he was banned from applying for away games for the next year.
United's new policy regarding tickets for both home and away games - which was brought in this summer - includes rules such as having to inform the club that you are ill and will not be
attending the game, the one Clark fell foul of. These new proscriptions have been brought in as a measure to control who is attending the matches and put an end to people passing off tickets to friends and family or selling them on. Those found to have done so face a 3-year ban.
It's changed the way away games work for fans, making it impossible on paper if you were unsuccessful in the ballot. And it is changing the way season tickets are looked at - gone are the days where you could share one or would stump up the cash in the knowledge that you could shift the ticket if you were unable to make a game. Now you either have to return that ticket to the club or let your seat sit -empty for that particular game. It also means that it is now a nightmare to help people you know visit the Theatre of Dreams.
