Tennessee Titans coach Mike Vrabel said Friday he expects to play both starting quarterback Marcus Mariota and backup Blaine Gabbert in Sunday’s game against the Houston Texans.Mariota didn’t throw during the open portion of practice Friday for the second straight day and was listed as limited and questionable on the team’s final injury report. Mariota injured his elbow on a hit from William Hayes while carrying out a fake on a run-pass option play during a season-opening 27-20 loss to the Miami Dolphins.“We’re evaluating Kamalei Correa Jersey ,” Vrabel said. We anticipate both of those guys playing in the game. We’re going to have to do a lot of things to win this game, and I would anticipate both of those guys playing at some point in time. Marcus is going to do everything he can to get ready. Every player is going to do everything they can to get ready on Sunday. That’s what our job is as pro football players and coaches, to exhaust all resources, time and energy to get ready to play in the game.”Whoever plays at quarterback will be playing behind a makeshift offensive line missing left tackle Taylor Lewan, who sustained a concussion in the Dolphins game and didn’t practice all week. Right tackle Jack Conklin Jayon Brown Jersey White , still recovering from anterior cruciate ligament surgery on his left knee in January, is out as well. Conklin’s replacement – right tackle Dennis Kelly – was absent from practice Thursday and Friday due to illness. There is some good news for the Titans on the defensive side of the ball. Vrabel said he expects the team’s top two draft picks – linebackers Rashaan Evans (hamstring) and Harold Landry (ankle) – to play Sunday. Both were injured before the season and missed the Dolphins game.Landry, Kelly, linebacker Derrick Morgan (knee) and tight end Luke Stocker (calf) are all listed as questionable on the Titans’ official injury report.Safety Kendrick Lewis has been ruled out for the second straight week with a foot injury.13View Gallery Gallery:FANTASY PLAYS: Start 鈥楨m 鈥?Sit 鈥楨m For Week 2 NFL gamesJake Roth-USA TODAY Sports | Jake Roth The Titans will be as close to full strength as they’ve been all season when they kick off against the New York Jets on Sunday. The Friday injury report lists just backup safety Dane Cruikshank and backup running back David Fluellen as OUT while everyone else is without an official injury designation for the game. That means we will see wide receiver Taywan Taylor for the first time since he went down with a foot injury against the Cowboys. It will be interesting to see where Taylor slots in. Tajae Sharpe has been pretty invisible for the last four weeks, catching just 6 passes for 37 yards despite playing a heavy snap count in each game. Cameron Batson has become the Titans third wide receiver in 11-personnel sets and has been pretty good in a very limited role. Taylor was pretty clearly third in the pecking order last time we saw him on the field behind Corey Davis and Sharpe http://www.thetitanslockerroom.com/authentic-daquan-jones-jersey , but I would guess that Matt LaFleur will want to find a way to get him on the field this week.Malcolm Butler will also return to the lineup after clearing the concussion protocol. He left the Texans game in the second half, but will be back in his regular spot Sunday which is good news for Tennessee.Rookie quarterback Sam Darnold is listed as questionable for the Jets. He’s been out the last few weeks, but we will have to wait until closer to game time to know whether the Titans will face him or veteran backup Josh McCown. Speedy receiver Robby Anderson is also questionable. He’s the Jets top deep threat, but he’s dealing with an ankle injury that held him to just two limited practices this week. New York will officially be without talented second year safety Marcus Maye who forms one half of their excellent young back end duo with Jamal Adams. He’s a big loss for a good secondary.
