Old school Runescape is filled with various money making methods. These range for players of all different skills and levels. For many players, the most difficult task in the game is to make some money during their times as a low level. This guide will hopefully teach you a couple of different methods to make some money with very low requirements. Some may even require nothing. Have fun!

Killing Chaos Druids 100k GP per hour

Requirements:

Chaos druids are one of the most popular starting monsters to kill in Old school Runescape. This is because of their low health and low damage. This allows for players, typically new players, to train their combat skills on these monsters while making a good amount of money at the same time. Chaos druids are known for dropping a variety of herbs. Most popular being the ranarr weed, which is where the mass of your profits will come from.

To begin this money making method, you want to first head over to taverly dungeon. This is shown in the map below.

As shown in the map above, to reach the Taverly dungeon. Simply start at the falador bank and follow the red path way. An agility short cut is present however you can also go through the main taverly gates if you do not have the agility level to cross the short cut. The gates are just north of Falador.

Once inside the taverly dungeon, simply head over and follow the path straight without entering any doors or gates. You will shortly find yourself with the chaos druids. Simply kill them, pick up their loot, and then return to falador bank to empty your inventory. A falador teleportation method is useful here but not at all needed. You should expect to make roughly an average of 100k GP per hour.

Flipping at the Grand Exchange

The term "flipping" is used not only used in Old school Runescape. It is brought from the real world as a term to describe the act of buying something for a low price and selling it for more than what you bought it for. In Old school Runescape, there is a place known as the 'Grand Exchange'. This is the most popular place for players to go in the game. It is where you buy and sell items. Every world you hop to, there will always be many people here.

To "flip" an item. You first want to begin with your cash stack in your inventory. You now want to search for an item that has a decent, high margin. The higher the margin, the higher the GP per hour you will make.To work out the margin of an item, you want to start off by buying one of a random item you believe can make you money. You want to over pay for this item on purpose.

No guide can ever tell you the exact items to buy and sell because prices are constantly changing every single day.

Once you find your item, you want to sell it for a very low price on purpose. These process' should be instant as you are over/under paying. You now want to go on over to the grand exchange history and check how large of a gap there is between you buy price and sell price. If you feel as if though the gap is pretty decent, you buy in bulk of that item for the low price and then once they are all bought, you want to sell it for the high price. It is good to note that flipping is risky. You will profit roughly 90% of the time however there will always be that 10% where there is no other alternative but to lose some money. Collecting ashes 40k GP per hour

Ashes are an item used for the herblore skill and for many quests. As the player base continuously grows, there will constantly be a demand for ashes as they are needed for quests and people are always training herblore. This means there is money to be made! This is quite possible one of the most easiest money making methods in Old school Runescape. This can be done either on free to play words or pay to play worlds.

To begin this method, you want to head over to the Grand exchange or any place where you see other players doing mass fire making in lines. Some other popular places are Wintertodt or the Varrock west bank, which usually starts from the Varrock fountain.

To perform this money making method, all you have to do is wait for the fire to vanish and it should drop ashes, which the player fire making usually does not collect. Once you collect a full inventory of ashes, simply deposit them all at the bank and return. Repeat this process and you should be looking at an average of 40k GP per hour.
Collecting Steel platebodies 150k GP per hour

You want to start off at edgeville bank and have your knife in your inventory or sword wielded. You can also bring along a weapon to wield to slice the web instead of the knife. This means you can have one extra inventory slot to pick an extra steel platebody. You can also bring your looting bag at this point if you have one. Run towards the south and pull the lever. Be warned that pulling the lever will lead you to deep wilderness. Next, you want to make your way to the lava maze area. A map will be provided below.

Once you are in this area, locate yourself to the steel platebody spot and start picking them up. They do not respawn very fast so you should hop after every steel platebody. So it will not take very long to fill your whole inventory and your looting bag if you have one. Once your inventory is full, return to the same lever that you came from. Then use a teleportation method back to edgeville and bank your steel platebodies. Repeat this process. You should be averaging roughly around 150k GP per hour using this money making method.

Collecting Nature runes in Deep Wilderness 100k GP per hour

Requirements:

-Magic level 33

-Staff of air

-Law rune

-1 Energy potion

-Food

-Runes to teleport

This is a good but dangerous method to make money in the F2P worlds because it is in deep wilderness and is a PVP zone. The way to get there is simple but a bit long, it is recommended to walk without using energy to save as much as possible. The map indicates the route to follow to reach the nature runes.

Following the route indicated on the map, You must click on the spell book icon then click on telekinetic grab spell and select the nature rune on the small island, there will be an animation and it will already be in the inventory. After taking the nature rune, just hop to the next world waiting for the nature rune to respawn again.

It is recommended to go south of the island and save nature runes collected to avoid encountering pkers.

It is good to note that if you are P2P and want to try this method to making money, it is recommended not to go to P2P worlds, because it is the area which Callisto the boss is and you can easily die.

Collecting Wines of Zamorak in Deep Wilderness 90k GP per hour

-Magic level 33

-Staff of air

-Law rune

-Runes to teleport

This method is also considered dangerous, but very effective to make money in the F2P worlds, as it is a PVP zone and very popular with pkers. The route will be indicated on the map to collect the wines of zamorak. It is also recommended to walk to save energy.

While on the altar you cannot take the wines of zamorak with your hands, you will be burned by the zamorak fire. For that, telekinetic grab spell must be used. Click on the spell book icon and select the telekinetic grab spell and then use it on the wine of zamorak. The same activity is repeated until the inventory is full.

Fill your inventory and then go down to level 20 wilderness and cast teleport to Varrock.

Cooking raw tunas 40k GP per hour

Requirements:

-Cooking level 30

-Raw tunas

-Cooking level 63

Cooking raw tunas is a very good method to make money in F2P, it is highly profitable and you level up quickly at the same time. Tunas are a very common food to heal, guaranteeing their demand in the Grand Exchange and making good money at the same time. Al-kharid is a good place to cook, it has a range very close to the bank which reduces the number of trips required when doing this method.

The raw tunas can be cooked at level 30 but there are great chances of being burned by the low experience in cooking and can decrease profit, so it is highly recommended to have at least 63 cooking level so that the tunas stop burning and you get the best possible profit.

Cooking tunas is simple, just must go to the range and click on it, the option of how many tunas you want to cook will appear, select “all” and all will be cooked, then back to the bank for more tunas.

Making gold amulet (u) – 35k GP per hour

-Gold bar

-Amulet mould

One of the last updates of Old School Runescape was to allow access to the furnance located in Edgeville to F2P players. The edgeville furnance is one of the furnance's closest to the bank, allowing the reduction of time between trips.

Making gold amulet (u) is really simple, you must go to the bank of edgeville, you fill one inventory slot with the amulet mould, and the rest in gold bars and run to the furnance.

When you are at the furnance you click on it, a new window will be opened, choose how many gold amulet (u) you would like to make, after approximately 1 minute, you will have all the gold amulet (u) made. Run back to the bank and repeat again.

Gold amulet (u) is a slow but effective method of leveling up crafting in addition to being highly traded in the Grand Exchange for its usefulness among players who want to level up their magic level by its value in alchemy reducing its cost in GP.
